Returns & Refund Policy

At C. Velayutha Nadar Sweets (Cornation), we take great care in preparing and delivering fresh, high-quality products. Due to the perishable nature of our items, our return and refund policy is strictly limited.


1. No General Returns

  • We do not accept returns once products are delivered.
  • All items are perishable food products and cannot be resold or reused.

2. Refund and Return Eligibility

Refunds or replacements will be considered only under the following conditions:

  • Wrong item delivered
  • Product received in damaged or spoiled condition
  • Missing items in the order

3. Mandatory Claim Window

  • A refund or return request must be raised within 8 hours of delivery.
  • Requests made after this period will not be accepted under any circumstances.

4. Mandatory Video Proof

  • Customers must provide a complete, uninterrupted unboxing video as proof.

The video must clearly show:

  • The sealed package before opening
  • The full unboxing process (no cuts or edits)
  • The condition of the product upon opening

Claims without proper video proof will not be considered.


5. Perishable Product Limitation

  • Some items have a very short shelf life.
  • Such products may not be eligible for return or refund, even within the 8-hour window.

Final eligibility will be determined after internal verification.


6. Refund or Replacement Decision

  • After reviewing the claim, we may:
    • Offer a replacement, or
    • Issue a refund, depending on the situation
  • The decision of C. Velayutha Nadar Sweets (Cornation) will be final.

7. Refund Process (Razorpay)

  • Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method through Razorpay.
  • Refunds will be initiated within 3 to 5 business days.
  • It may take 5 to 7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

8. Failed Transactions

  • If payment is deducted but the order is not confirmed, the amount will be automatically refunded within 5 to 7 business days via Razorpay.

9. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled only before preparation begins.
  • Once the order is prepared or dispatched, cancellation or refund is not allowed.

10. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • No unboxing video proof
  • Claim raised after 8 hours
  • Incorrect address provided by the customer
  • Delivery failed due to customer unavailability
  • Improper storage after delivery
  • Minor variations in taste, texture, or appearance
  • Delay caused by courier or external factors

11. Right to Refuse

We reserve the right to:

  • Reject any claim that does not meet the above conditions
  • Limit or refuse service in cases of misuse or fraudulent claims
